Please join us for a day of fun in the sun for Host Families and Au Pairs!
Millbrae Meadows Swim Club is fun for all ages, there is a baby pool, a full size pool with diving board, picnic area, vollyball and basketball area, ping pong and foosball.  Come to swim, lounge in the sun or just play.

This will be one of our annual host family events as well as the monthly au pair meeting.

Au pairs should attend even if their host family cannot be there.

Cost per person will be $8.  RSVP and payment need to be received by Aug 24th.

Three new au pairs have joined our group this month, please welcome: Mely Martinez Yanez from Switzerland, Marine Brembilla from France, and Irene Zauner from Austria.

Mely Martinez Yanez is a 19-year old and comes to us from Zurich, Switzerland. Both of Mely’s parents are from Spain and she is multi-lingual, speaking fluently in English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and even a little French & Italian. Mely grew up in a family childcare home, and has been caring for children independently since she was 12-years old. She enjoys swimming, going to the gym, latin dancing, playing guitar, watching movies, reading, photography, cooking, paintball, and traveling. Mely will be spending her au pair year taking care of an infant & 3-year old for a host family in San Mateo.

Marine Brembilla is a 19-year old from Gitiont, France. Marine has extensive experience babysitting and tutoring children. She is a student of foreign language studying English literature & civilization. Marine enjoys swimming, basketball, badminton, jogging, rollerblading, concerts, movies, reading, museums, dancing, photography, and baking cakes. Marine will be caring for 2 young boys for a family in Belmont this year.

Irene Zauner is a 19-year old from St. Georgen, Austria. Prior to her US arrival, Irene worked as an au pair caring for infant twins for a family in Vancouver, Canada, and has experience caring for children with special needs. Irene is interested in studying sports management and enjoys swimming, volleyball, jogging, skiing, soccer, listening to music, playing clarinet & accordion, driving motorbikes, hiking, camping, biking, sightseeing, theatre, reading poetry, cooking, traveling, and socializing. Irene will be caring for twin girls with a Belmont family this year.
