New Au Pairs Arrive from Chile & Sweden this Week

This Friday, two new au pairs will be joining us, please welcome…

Karina Bravo is 21-years old from Puerto Montt, Chile. Karina is studying to become an English teacher, and will spend the next year caring for 2 young girls, living with a host family in Belmont. Karina enjoys playing tennis, camping, singing and traveling.

Johanna Nilwert is an outdoorsy 19-year old from the village of Deje, Sweden. Johanna loves nature and enjoys hiking, camping, riding, as well as, playing floorball and going to the movies & theater. During her au pair year, Johanna will be caring for 2 young children for a host family in San Mateo.

San Francisco Bay Cruise - May 30th!

San Francisco Bay Disco Cruise 2009!

You’re invited to bring your friends and join hundreds of other au pairs in the Bay Area for a night of dancing, music and fun as we take a cruise

around the San Francisco Bay and enjoy the sights by night!

See San Francisco as you’ve never seen it before!

There will be a chance to win some fabulous prizes!

When: Saturday, May 30th

Time: 6:00 pm Meet at the Dock

Boat returns at 10 pm

Location: Pier 39, Gate 3, Blue and Gold Fleet, Embarcadero at Beach St. San Francisco, CA 94133 - map

Ticket Price: $30 per au pair. (non-refundable) You will need to provide credit card information at the time of on line purchase.

No tickets will be sold at the boat.

Open to the first 225 au pairs who register and pay.

The Cruise sets sail at 6:30pm and is exclusively for au pairs and friends.

It will count for your May Au Pair Meeting; you will sign in at the boat.

Deadline to Register: To get a ticket, you must register and submit payment by Friday, May 8th 2009.

2nd Year Au Pair to Arrive in Half Moon Bay!

Pamela Gomez Lopez is an au pair from El Salvador. For the last year Pamela has been caring for a 2-year old boy in the state of Washington. She will extend for 12-months with a new family in Half Moon Bay, caring for 2 young girls. Pamela is a student of Public Relations and enjoys soccer, music, camping, biking, dancing, movies, photography, cooking, and swimming. Pamela will move in with her new host family on Monday, April 20th, please welcome her to our group!
