No Comment |Posted by: crobinson on March 25, 2009
Au Pairs are a long way from home on their birthdays. Many au pairs miss their family, friends and traditions from home. On Sunday, March 22nd a group of local au pairs celebrated “Everybody’s Birthday” at Mimi’s Café in Foster City. The group exchanged gifts, sang birthday songs, talked about how they celebrate in their home country, and ate dessert. This social event was well attended and fun, drawing in a few patrons from the café. People stopped by our tables to ask about the celebration, providing the au pairs the opportunity to share about the au pair program.
